Vocabulary on Frozen 2

Today I was reading a book called Frozen 2 and had to write all the words I don't know, along with my definition and the dictionaries definition. 

Vocabulary	My definition	Dictionary meaning
Mines	Caves	An excavation in the earth for extracting coal or other minerals.
Surrender	“ Put your hands in the air. ”	Stop resisting to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority.
Chandelier	A light bulb	A large, decorative hanging light with branches for several light bulbs or candles.
Mantelpiece	Shelf	A structure of wood, marble, or stone above and around a fireplace.
Variety	Normal things	The quality or state of being different or diverse.
Ragged	A Rag	(Of cloth or clothes) old and torn.
Labored	A type of dog	Work hard; make great effort.
Permanently	You have until tomorrow.	In a way that lasts or remains unchanged indefinitely; for all time.
Surged	Went through someone.	(Of a crowd or a natural force) move suddenly and powerfully forward or upward
