Moriori:A STORY OF Survival
There was a young man called maui and his grandfather called Tommy Solomon. They were both Moriori.They were proud of who they were.Tommy solomon died in 1933.The law of Nunuku was to rest in peace, they were not allowed to fight.In 1917 a boat called HMS came to land on Rekohu.A year later more strangers came,so they greeted them and gave them food,shelter and got them back to health.Next the maori killed some Moriori and enslaved some of the Moriori.

The connection of this story is from christchurch is when the people in the church said “ Hello Brother’’Then he killed 50 of them is the same exact thing but they enslaved some.

Tisharn legend of kupe

One day kupe and his wife sailed to New Zealand,to get some food and look for the moa.
They went back to Hawaki to get his people and that is how they made Maori people.
