Opo the dolphin came from Opononi and was legendary for his tricks. Opo was also known to juggle bouncy balls, bottles and a balloon which always had to be red. No one could be certain about Opo’s death. Some reckon he died when he got stuck between two rocks and was left there to dry and rot. But lots of people believe a girl killed Opo when a teacher took a 5 year old girl named Dawn's ball. Alot think that she made her dad kill him because he was a hunter.
